This practice test has also been formatted like the official exam that you will take at the Texas DMV.

We believe that you are going to find this test to be:

  • Valuable – you’ll quickly learn about basic vehicle control, motorcycle safety and how to operate a motorcycle
  • Convenient – you can study at your own pace and you can study anywhere you have an Internet connection
  • Fun and easy to use – there is a progress tracker to let you know how you are doing
  • Amazingly informative and effective – at preparing you to pass the real test

What Types of Questions are on the Test

You may find questions on a variety of subjects ranging from alcohol and motorcycle operation to passing other vehicles to handling corners to entering an intersection and more. Here are two sample questions:

What should be your goal when choosing a lane position to ride in? What is the hand signal for stop?

If you can answer enough of these types of questions correctly you will pass this practice test and may be ready to take the real test and earn your license.

With your license you will be able to ride Texas’ many scenic roadways, like “The Three Sisters,” which is also known as the “100 Mile Loop.” This ride features twisting and turning roads that run through some of the most scenic parts of Central Texas. You’ll see panoramic views, canyon bottoms and mountains and there is even a motorcycle museum along the way.

Take our practice test now to assess your knowledge and prepare for the official written motorcycle test.
