SD Practice Permit Test Details

Our new South Dakota Practice Permit Test is the fourth in our ongoing series of SD Practice Permit Tests. It features state-specific content and challenging questions written by experts who studied the South Dakota drivers handbook and past learners permit tests to ensure that this practice test covers all the most commonly tested areas found on the real exam. In addition to relevant content, the test also has a number of other features designed to enhance your study efforts. Here are just some of the features of this test:

  • Interactive Test Environment – Answer a question and find out instantly whether you have answered correctly or incorrectly. If you answer a question incorrectly, you will also be given the right answer along with a brief explanation as to why that is the right answer.
  • Results Tracking – Our color-coded tracking system lets you know how you are doing as you progress through the test. It automatically tracks right and wrong answers and how many questions are left on the test. This way you will always know how you are doing and how many more questions you need to answer correctly to pass. The test has 25 questions and you must answer at least 80% (20 questions) to achieve a passing score.
  • Post-Test Review – After you complete the test, you can use the review feature to go back and read and review the questions you missed to ensure you understand what the correct answer is as well as why it is the correct answer.
  • Randomized Test Retakes – Take the test as many times as you like. Plus, each time you retake the test the questions will be presented in a different order to create a new test experience for you.

Did you know that in South Dakota, headlights must be used 1/2 hour after sunset to 1/2 hour before sunrise, and when visibility is less than 200 feet? Test your knowledge on subjects just like these before taking the real exam.
