Don’t sit for the written permit test at the Missouri Department of Revenue (DOR) without first taking our road sign practice test. Road sign questions make up a significant portion of the questions on the written test – so a lack of knowledge about road signs could cause you to fail. Our test features 25 multiple choice questions covering warning, emergency, regulatory, informational and guide signs.

Test questions are drawn from the Missouri drivers handbook and are multiple choice. You need to select the correct answer from the four possibilities. If you answer 20 or more questions correctly you will pass the test.

If you do not answer 20 or more questions correctly (or even if you do) you can take the test again. The test is completely free and can be taken an unlimited number of times to ensure you learn all the content that it contains. As an added bonus, the question randomizer will reorder the test questions each time you take the test.

Also as you take the test, the instant feedback feature will let you know immediately if your answer is right or wrong and it will provide a detailed explanation of the correct answer so that you can learn as you go. It’s time to find out how much you really know about Missouri road signs, take this practice test now.
