What Types of Questions are on the Test

On this test you can expect to find questions that thoroughly test your motorcycle knowledge. From preparing your motorcycle to ride to avoiding hazards to riding on slippery surfaces to what safety gear to wear, this test will challenge you.

For example, do you know the best formation to use when riding in a group? Do you know what position inexperienced riders should ride in when in a group?

You’ll find questions like these on the test to help prepare you to receive your license and start riding Massachusetts’ scenic roadways – like Route 66 to Northampton, which bypasses state parks, farmland and mountains, and the Quabbin Reservoir Loop, which includes views of farmland, forests and sleepy little towns.

Or how about riding to Salem, Gloucester and Annisquam Village? These locations along the North Shore offer views of scenic towns, beaches, museums and if you are lucky maybe even some whales!

Take this practice test now to see if you are ready to take and pass the real written test and get out on Massachusetts’ roads.
